Janice Trytten (Sunflower)'s earliest
memory as a child in Oklahoma has her building tipis and making fabric
"buckskin" dresses. Since the late 1980's she has
attended and participated in many Living History events, focus on the 1840's fur trade era. Native Flute playing developed naturally from the
re-enactment experiences.
